katy & ariel are engaged!

 

would you believe i had two shoots in a row with couples who are high school sweethearts?   yup- katy and ariel met in high school and still laugh together as if they are 16 and newly dating.  i love that.   i had so much fun getting to know them last week and am really looking forward to their wedding in december . their love is so evident and was wonderful to witness.  i’m really happy with the series of photos we took-  happy viewing :)

evan at 2 months

 

just thought i’d update everyone with a few photos of baby evan- he is growing so fast! already a whopping 14 pounds :)

my sister came to charleston on her fall break to see her nephew and get a tan….

i don’t think she expected the baby spit up though! haha.

melinda & allen: engaged baby!

 

allen and melinda are high school sweethearts who met in the ninth grade…they have been together over 10  years!  they have an epic wedding planned for next may and i’m so honored to be a part of it.  we met up last week to begin their e-session at the james island county park and they were seriously up for anything! allen had the most hilarious sense of humor and melinda was so friendly and easy going - definitely my kind of couple.

as you can see i wasn’t kidding about being up for anything!  melinda and allen jumped off the boardwalk we were on and into the mushy marsh…the result?  awesome muddy feet!

all clean :)

they didn’t hesitate to climb effortlessly up this tree either…

i will repeat…love the red hair. love the blues and greens :)
